Terms of service

The terms for using our Google reviews widget service, plans, billing and acceptable use.

Last updated 2 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ainygo Technologies for using ReviewPine. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you use ReviewPine for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

1. The service

ReviewPine fetches the public Google reviews of a business you connect and lets you display them on websites through an embeddable widget. Features, designs and limits are described in our pricing section and may improve over time.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the law that applies to you.
  • Give us accurate details and keep your email address current, since it is how you sign in.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Free trial and Free plan

New accounts can use every feature free for 7 days for one business, without a card. A free trial is available once per account and once per business.

When a free trial or a paid plan ends and you have not chosen a plan, your account moves to the Free plan at no cost:

  • one widget, your default widget, keeps showing up to 10 of your newest 4★ and 5★ reviews for the business it belongs to, in our standard design, with reviews refreshed about once a month;
  • the free widget shows a small “Free widget by ReviewPine” link to our website, which a paid plan removes;
  • your other widgets go offline and show a small notice instead of reviews. Offline widgets are kept for 30 days and then removed unless you choose a plan. Your default widget is never removed while your account is open.

The Free plan is offered as long as we provide it. We may change its limits or end it in the future; if we do, we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect. Choosing a plan at any time brings back your full design, all your reviews and every widget that has not been removed.

4. Plans, billing and taxes

  • Plans are billed yearly in advance in US dollars through PayPal (PayPal balance or card), and renew automatically each year until you switch auto-renew off.
  • Prices do not include taxes of your country. If a sales tax, VAT or GST applies to your purchase where you are (for example under a reverse-charge rule for businesses), you are responsible for it. An invoice is issued for every payment and can show your business name and VAT or tax number.
  • Customers in India are billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay under the India version of these terms.
  • If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active for a short grace period while the payment is retried; after that your plan ends and your account moves to the Free plan described in section 3.
  • We may change plan prices for future billing periods. We will tell you before a change affects your next renewal, and you can switch auto-renew off before it does.

Cancellations, upgrades and refunds are covered in our cancellation & refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • connect only businesses you own or are authorised to represent, and display their reviews only on websites you control or have permission to change;
  • not alter, fabricate or misrepresent reviews, and not remove or hide the attribution to Google shown by the widget;
  • comply with Google’s terms for its services and brand, and with the consumer protection laws and rules on online reviews that apply to you (for example the US FTC rule on consumer reviews and the EU and UK rules on fake reviews);
  • not misuse the service, for example by overloading it, scraping it, reverse-engineering it or using it for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

6. Content and intellectual property

Reviews belong to their authors and are displayed as published on Google. Your business name, logo and settings remain yours; you let us use them only to provide the service. The ReviewPine software, widget designs and website are ours, and these terms give you a licence to use them only as part of the service.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep the service fast and reliable. Widgets are served as static files from a global network, so they keep working even if our dashboard is down. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and reviews are refreshed from Google only as often as the service allows.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or business), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. When a plan ends, your account moves to the Free plan described in section 3. When an account is closed, all its widgets stop showing reviews and your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders before they take effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our registered office. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections of your local law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Please contact us first. Most issues are resolved quickly by talking.
